Toronto – Volume 2

The first day in Toronto had brought the Hagebrothers many impressions about the city and canadian lifestyle, they even had already spend some time in the Royal Ontario Museum.

We wanted to make it even bigger this day by visiting torontos main attraction: The CN-Tower. With a height of 553 metres it is Canadas highest building which probably also has the longest queue in the world!

We parked our car at Ontario Lake and had a little walk to this days destination.

Aftter we got inside the building we had to wait for about two hours until we reached the glasselevator, which would take us with 6,1 m/s on top of the building (Actually it isn’t the top, just the Outdoor observation terrace at 342m). And what are you doing if there’s an elevator made of glass? Exactly, hyperlapse Videos!

When we arrived at the observation deck we joined all the visitors standing outside to get a look through the bars at Toronto City and Ontario Lake. There even was a walking edge in 356m, where you can walk secured around the outside of the tower, after spending a lot of money.

It took us about one hour to see all the places which are worth to visit: The glass floor (342m) where you can see all the way down, the outdoor observation terrace (342m) and the indoor observation level (346m).

As we where going around we met people from many different countrys like USA, Spain, France, etc. who were really excited about the building, but after one hour it was enough and we went to the exit. And guess what? We had to wait in the second longest queue to take the elevator down.

It was about four o’clock when we left the tower and therefore no more time to go to Ripleys Aquarium, what was also planned for this day because it’s directly nearby.

But that wasn’t a big problem, the Hagebrothers decided they would visit the Aquarium on another day. So they took a walk, got their car and drove homeward.
